Agnès Varda, the godmother of the French New Wave, and street artist JR co-directed this film. The two drove JR's small truck through villages in France, photographing the people they encountered along the way and painting billboard-sized portraits on the walls of houses and factories. Art is another eye to see the world. Just take a step back to leave room for reflection, and ordinary faces can become a stunning sight. This is a warm expedition from the ordinary to the extraordinary, inviting us to look at this world again from another dimension.
