Buena Vista Social Club is a documentary directed by Wim Wenders. It goes deep into Havana, Cuba, and records a band composed of elderly musicians from the bottom. Although the members have experienced poverty and turmoil, they have always adhered to music and were invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York by chance. The film presents this warm and vibrant spiritual journey in the form of interweaving rehearsals, self-narratives, and live scenes, fully demonstrating the soul and passion of Cuban music and conveying an indomitable and optimistic attitude towards life.
