女孩凯莉亚在父亲工作的油棕园救出一只小婆罗洲猩猩；同时，开发商大举侵占丛林，使原住民流离失所，凯莉亚的表弟也为避祸前来同住。在一次争执后，表弟带着小猩猩负气离开，为了找回家人，凯莉亚决定冒险进入丛林。但在深处等待她的，不只有未知的危险与挑战、被都市人淡忘的信仰与习俗，还有家族中一段从未被揭开的记忆。

Kelia, a young girl, rescues a baby Bornean orangutan from the palm oil plantation where her father works. Meanwhile, aggressive developers encroach on the jungle, displacing Indigenous communities and forcing Kelia’s cousin to seek refuge with her family. After a heated argument, the cousin runs away into the forest with the young orangutan. Determined to bring them home, Kelia ventures deep into the jungle. There, she encounters not only unknown dangers and challenges, but also beliefs and customs long forgotten by the urban world—and an untold memory buried within her own family.
