九年前，杰西与席琳在火车上邂逅，共度了维也纳浪漫的一夜并约定重逢。九年后，杰西成为作家，将往事写进书中；席琳则是一名环保工作者。两人在巴黎意外重逢，只有午后短短几小时可共处。他们漫步街头、泛舟河上，仿佛找回曾经的默契。日落将至，杰西不得不赶往机场，心底却不愿再错过这段命中注定的缘分。

Nine years ago, Jesse and Céline met by chance on a train, spent a romantic night in Vienna, and made a promise to reunite. Nine years later, Jesse has become a writer, putting their past into a book; Céline works as an environmentalist. The two unexpectedly run into each other in Paris, with only a few short hours in the afternoon to spend together. They stroll the streets and row a boat on the river, as if rediscovering their former rapport. As sunset approaches, Jesse has to rush to the airport, yet deep down, he is unwilling to miss this fated connection again.
