该片改编自刘醒龙的中篇小说《秋风醉了》，讲述了某市文化馆王副馆长尽忠职守多年，多次任“代馆长”，但始终不得转正，他先后与两位外派的新馆长斗智斗法，工作态度从每事亲力亲为逐渐转变成漠不关心的故事。

This film, adapted from Liu Xinglong's novella The Autumn Wind Intoxicates, tells the story of Deputy Director Wang of a municipal cultural center. Having been conscientious in his post for years, he served as "acting director" on multiple occasions but was never officially promoted to the position. After engaging in battles of wits with two successively assigned new directors, his work attitude gradually shifted from being hands-on with everything to complete indifference.
